Well that's a tough question. Personally I don't trust the dealer with this repair. They are super high priced and mandated by GM to do it one way and their repair option (timeserts) fails. Wow, I personally feel like this is the best V8 American engine ever made for a sedan. Just think, at one time someone paid $40k-$50k for that Cadillac. How can someone just give up on that type of monetary investment? Especially when there is a very affordable repair option. How can someone tell you to just "get rid" of something so easily.
